Northeast Nursing institute established in 2007 and Northeast Nursing College established in 2009. Both institutions are presently operated by the name of North East Nursing College which approved by Ministry of Health and Family welfare, recognized by Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council and affiliated by Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. It offers 5 (five) different courses respectively 3 (three) years Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery course with 120 seats, 3 (three) years Diploma in Midwifery course with 40 seats, 1 (One) year Diploma in cardiac Nursing course with 20 seats, 4 (four) years Basic B.Sc in Nursing course with 70 seats and 2 (two) years Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing course with 60 seats.
