Governing Body Meeting in North East Medical College on 6 July2023
On July 6, 2023, at 10:30 am, the 3rd Governing Body meeting of North East Medical College Sylhet, in accordance with the Private Medical College and Dental College Act of 2022, took place in the Conference Hall of the North East Medical College extension building. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Afzal Miah, Chairman of the Governing Body. The attendees included Prof. Dr. Shahriar Hussain Chowdhury, Principal and Member Secretary Mrs. Tangina Islam, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Prof. Dr. Kazi Afzalur Rahman, Director of Planning and Development, DGME Dhaka; and founding members Prof. Dr. Syed Moosa M.A. Quaium, Dr. Iqbal Hussain Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Md. Nazmul Islam, Prof. Dr. Md. Harunur Rashid, and Dr. Md. Shamimur Rahman.
